Man Admits To Fatal Atlantic City Shooting: Prosecutor

A 35-year-old Egg Harbor man pleaded guilty on Friday, Jan. 17, to fatally shooting a man in Atlantic City in March 2023, authorities said.

Jahlil Boston pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter and is expected to be sentence to 28 years in prison per the term of a plea agreement, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said.

On Saturday, March 18, 2023, police in Atlantic City responded to the 1600 block of the Atlantic City boardwalk and found a 34-year-old man with a gunshot wound, authorities said. He was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

Surveillance footage captured Boston shooting the man and he was apprehended a few blocks away, still in possession of the handgun, authorities said.

Boston remains incarcerated in the Atlantic County Justice Facility, authorities said.
